All Things Ellie

I have been wanting to buy a Nyx product for a while and when I found a counter in a Boots I was very happy! After browsing the Nyx counter I picked out two shades of Soft Matte Lip Creams 'Abu Dhabi' and 'Cannes'.

First of all I really like the packaging, its feels a lot nicer than thought. I also love that the lids are matte. The Lip Creams are £5.50 which I think is so good!

The Lip Creams feel so lovely on the lips and not very drying which is great. The colours are gorgeous and looks so amazing. When they go matte on your lips they don't go patchy at all. They also last a really long time through eating and drinking! I defiantly need to pick up more.
The colours I selected are both nudes. 'Abu Dhabi' is a brown toned nude which I really like at the moment whereas Cannes is a lot more pink toned which is also stunning. I think these lip colours are so nice!

What colours are your favourite?

There are so many beauty products that I would love to have. So today I put together a list of some of the things that really catch my eye...

Mac Velvet Teddy - This lipstick is gorgeous and it doesn't help lots of bloggers raving about it. It is a beautiful nude brown which is so different to anything I own.

The Naked Palettes - The Naked Palettes are stunning! My friend recently got the Naked 3 for her birthday and it looks insane. They have a range of gorgeous colours that are incredible pigmented. The Naked original looks amazing also.

Nyx Soft Matte Lip Creams - I really want to try these out but whenever I've gone into a Boots they never have a Nyx counter. These lip creams look so nice and I'm defiantly going to keep looking for these.

Makeup Revolution Iconic Lights and Contour Palette - This palette seems so nice, I love the colours in this palette, especially the contouring shades, they look incredible.

Benefit Hoola - Benefit Hoola is such a lovely matte bronzer that I would love to try. The shade is pretty and looks great when I see people wearing it.

The Balm Mary Lou Manizer - This highlight looks amazing, I've seen so many YouTubers and bloggers raving about this and I can defiantly see why, it is stunning!

What has caught your eye recently?

As I have been really loving this palette recently I thought I would review it for you. This is the Seventeen Easy On The Eye palette in Birthday Suit.

It costs around £5 which is amazing for 12 beautiful eye shadows. In this it has a eye primer, three cream and then a mixture of matte and shimmer eye shadows.
LEFT TO RIGHT:
TOP LINE: Gentle Pink, Sun Kissed Peach, Cool Rose, Toasted Almond, Bronzed Buff and Pink Flush
BOTTOM LINE: Warm Ivory, Radiant Gold, Warm Mink, Baked Chestnut, Burnt Copper and the Eye Primer.

This palette is quite pink apart from a few which I really like. I have been using Sun Kissed Peach all over my lid, then adding Toasted Almond which is my favourite shade from this palette in the crease and then if I want I will add a tad of Bake Chestnut in my very corner.

The creams in this are so nice, I have been using them quite a bit. My favourite out of the creams has to be Bronzed Buff but I do love the others.

Another thing I like is the packaging its so simple but I really like it.

If any of you have this palette which is your favourite shade?

For my Summer holiday me and my family went to Spain for a few weeks and while we were there I took a few pictures. I love Spain because it stores so many memories for me and my family as we have been most years since I was allowed to go on a plane. We went to beautiful beaches and ate lots of frozen yoghurt which by the way if you haven't tried your seriously missing out!

If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen some of these pictures. The photos of the animals are from when we went to a small parrot zoo, it had butterflies, kangaroos and tortoises and of course lots of parrots. And if you went on holiday this year where did you go to or where are you going to?

Today I thought I would show you some hairstyles that I think look really nice. There are 4 all together and I really love them.
1.  The first hairstyle is a half up, half down bun.
First you want to take the section of hair at the top of your head, then tie it with a hair bobble. Next twist the hair that is tied up and spin it into a bun on the top of your head, secure it with a bobble and add in some bobby pins to adjust the shape until your happy with it.
2. Secondly is two Dutch Braids, I love this hairstyle and have been wearing it a lot recently.
Split you hair down the middle so you have a middle parting. Then take a small section and start braiding it but every braid you do add a small section of hair. Keep doing it till you have no more hair to braid and then braid normally.
3. Next is a hairstyle my mum used to do for me when I was younger, Space Buns.
First put your hair in a middle parting and then bring both sides up into high or low bunchies. Then twist each of the bunchies into  a bun and add some bobby pins. I then pulled out a few sections of hairs at the front.
4. Last is a hairstyle that I love, it is two Dutch Braids to the back of the head.
Again put your hair into a middle parting and then take a small section of hair at the front of your head, then Dutch braid it but going directly backwards, stop when you get to the back. Then join both the braids together and tie them.

So that was 4 hairstyles, let me know if you try any of these.
