All Things Ellie

As today is Christmas Eve Eve, I thought I would show you the makeup, hair and outfit I will be wearing on Christmas Day.

Makeup
Starting with the face makeup I'm applying the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation and adding some Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer anywhere I need it. I then set that in place with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder and contour with the Seventeen Define & Conquer Contour Kit as always. For blush I'm using the Bourjois blush in Rose PomPom and then highlighting with Benefit Dandelion Twinkle from the Hello SanfrancisGLOW set (review).

Moving on to eyebrows I'm using the Freedom Duo Brow Powder to fill them in and then setting them in place with the Essence Brow Gel. For the eyes I'm using my Zoeva Cocoa Blends Palette that I got for my birthday. I start by blending 'Substitute For Love' in the crease and then applying a bit of 'Beans Are White' in my outer corner. And finally adding 'Pure Ganache' across the middle of the lid. For mascara I'm using my Clinique High Impact Mascara. Finally on the lips I'm applying a Peach Oil Lipgloss that my friend got me for Christmas.

Hair
For hair I'm going to use my Braun Hair straighteners, which I love, to straighten my hair. And that's about it for the hair. I have it in my normal middle parting. Kind of boring really.

Outfit
Lastly is the outfit, for my top I'm going to be wearing a Pretty Little Thing t-shirt that I'm hoping to get for Christmas, otherwise I'll wear this white top which I have tucked into this Burgundy skirt that I bought from Primark. For accessories on my hands I'm wearing my Pandora Heart Ring and my Topshop Elephant ring which I wear all the time. And for earrings I'm wearing some Primark hoops and I can't change my seconds as I've only just got them pierced.

So that is my makeup, hair and outfit for Christmas. What are you planning on wearing? Merry Christmas!

For Christmas Benefit brought out a range of gift sets and one of my friends got me the Hello FrancisGLOW set for my birthday. As you can tell by the 'glow' in the name this is a highlighter set.

The packaging for this is so pretty with the pink and yellow skyline effect at the top and the pattern that is on the inside and around the sides. Inside the set you get four of the Benefit best sellers which includes one powder, one cream and two liquid. It also has a mini brush that comes with most of the powder products. However the powder is stuck into the set which means you can't travel with it without taking the whole set.

The first highlight is the Dandelion Twinkle highlighter. This has recently been added to the permanent-collection along with Shy Beam which is also included in this. Dandelion Twinkle is a light beige coloured highlight and the powder of the set. It is quite a subtle highlight but once you build it up it does give a beautiful glow. As I mentioned before there is Dandelion Shy Beam, this is a very natural highlight. I would say this would be nice if you don't like a shimmery highlight and want to look glowy. The next liquid highlight in this set is High Beam, which is defiantly one of the most popular highlighters from Benefit. This is a really pretty pearly pink colour and even though I prefer more gold coloured ones this is stunning and looks super nice on your cheek bones. Lastly is the Watt's Up! highlighter, this is the cream of the set which I actually really like. It is a similar colour to Dandelion Twinkle which I love and blends out really nicely.

Overall I think this set is so good and I really like all the products included. Have you tried any Benefit highlighters?

As Christmas is tomorrow, which I still can't believe how fast this month has gone! I thought I would do 'The Christmas Tag'. I have seen this going around and have wanted to do it for quite a while, so what better time to do it than Christmas Eve!

In this tag, there are 10 questions which I'm going to answer for you today.

1. Ever had a White Christmas?

Yes, but it was years ago and I was quite young. I really want it to snow!

Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin Stevens because it's my favourite Christmas song also all the songs that I mentioned in my 'Top 10 Favourite Christmas Songs' blog post.

3. What's your outfit for Christmas this year?
I don't really know yet, but I might wear a Christmas jumper.

4. Does your Christmas tree have a theme?
Yes, this year we went for red and silver. And I think it looks amazing.

5. Christmas film of choice?
Probably the Grinch or Arthur Christmas just because I can never get bored of them! I did do a post on my 'Top 5 Christmas Films'.

6. What Advent Calendar do you have?
I have a Cadbury's one because I love Cadbury's chocolate so much!

7. Have you bought all your Christmas presents yet?
I have, seen as it's Christmas Eve I would of thought so.

8. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
No, we open all our presents on Christmas Day, but I do open some Christmas presents before Christmas like my friends from school and family friends.

9. How much effort do you put into wrapping?
I actually really enjoy wrapping Christmas presents, it gets me so excited to give people their presents. So I guess I do put in effort, I try to make them looks really nice.

Today, I am going to be showing the products I will use on Christmas day. As Christmas is so close now.
First of all I use the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer. I really like this concealer, but it's got quite a sparkly finish. Next I powder my face with Rimmel Stay Matte, I think drugstore powders have been pushed to the side so much but I love this one! Thirdly I apply a little bit of contour using the Seventeen Define & Conquer Contour Kit. Then I use Sleek Rosegold blush, this blush I beautiful. It's pink with a iridescent gold shimmer. Lastly I highlight with the Seventeen Pink Bronze Highlighter, this is a brick highlighter and all together they look so nice.
For the eyes, I'm using my Urban Decay Naked Basics eye shadow palette. I use the colours Venus, W.O.S, Naked 2 and Faint. All these together look amazing on your eye lids. Then for my eyelashes, I'm using Maybelline Lash Sensational which is one of my favourite mascaras, it's incredible!
Lastly, the lips. I have been using the Kylie Jenner Birthday Edition Mini Matte in Exposed. This colour is beautiful. It's a lovely light pinky nude, a colour that I have been loving at the moment!

That is what I am wearing on my face on Christmas day. What are you wearing?

Todays post is going to be about my Top 5 Christmas Films. I love Christmas Films and there are some incredible ones out there. Also todays post is a collab with Erin from Everything Erin, you should defiantly go and read her posts they are amazing!

Arthur Christmas - This film is about Santa who is called Malcom and his two sons Steve and Arthur. Malcom goes around delivering the presents with his elves but one child is missed, so Arthur does all he can to make sure that child gets the present. I love this film, I think it is so believable because of how he delivers all the presents and how he would do it in one night. If I had watched this when I started to think about how Santa done it, I would of totally believed it.

Elf - Elf is about Buddy who came to the North Pole after crawling into Santa's sack. He gets taken back to the North Pole by accident and he gets raised there thinking he's an elf. After finding out that he's not he goes back to New York to find his Dad but of course he has some rough times along the way. This film is so enjoyable and has some really funny parts in it.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas - This one is on The Grinch who tries to ruin Christmas for all the people in Whoville. Mary Loo tries to help The Grinch like Christmas but he makes it hard for her to help. I really like this it's really funny and different to a normal Christmas film.

Home Alone - A classic Christmas film, if you don't know what this is about, its on a boy, Kevin who gets left behind when his parent go on holiday. While they are away two men try to burglar his home. Kevin does all he can to stop them from getting in. I think you've all watched this film before at least once. It is so funny as what Kevin does to the burglars.

Deck The Halls - This one is not spoken about that much but it's one of the first I ever watched. It's about two men arguing over who's 'The Christmas Man' and Christmas lights. This film is funny and how they fight and what they do to win.
